To map the physical quantities and the socio-economic value of ecosystem services is an important input into landscape planning on regional to national scales. In this research we explore the use of ecohydrological models and remote sensing in order to investigate the delivery of services. This is linked to the spatial distribution of the demand for ecosystem services to assess their socio-economic value. Based on this our goal is to develop spatially explicit models based on agent based models and to apply them in case studies in Germany and South Korea.
